2011 is reaching its end, but don’t think gaming is going into hibernation until next October. The start of the year is filled with high profile games, including early February’s Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. With a development team that includes people from Oblivion, comic artist Todd McFarlane and former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling, this fantasy adventure has more than a few deep concepts to introduce. That’s why the devs created a video with helpful British narration to clear things up.
I hope you guys learned something from that trailer, and we don’t just mean the way the game mixes up its combat options in a multitude of ways. You shouldn’t be bogged down by labels. If you want to be an assassin that stabs people in the back, but who also uses frost magic, you go right ahead. Whatever you choose to play as when Reckoning hits retail February 7, we won’t judge.
