Boris Karloff scored screen immortality for his role as Frankenstein’s reanimated spawn, of course, but that was far from his only horror credit. Here’s an obscurity from 1942, which sees Karloff graduate to the mad boffin role, experimenting on travelling salesmen in a bid to create a new master race… Don’t blame it on the sunshine. Don’t blame it on the moonlight. Don’t blame it on the good times. Blame it on the boogie man.
