The Fortnite floating rings at Steamy Stacks may feel strangely like a blast from the past, and with good reason – they originally appeared as a task in Season 3, but were hastily removed from the game due to an unspecified issue. Now, three months down the line, they have reappeared as part of the Fortnite Week 9 challenges and it looks like they’re here to stay this time. If you just take a quick glance around this area in Fortnite you’re not going to find all of those elusive blue orbs, but helpfully we’ve dug deeper to bring you all five of the Fortnite floating rings at Steamy Stacks locations, so check out the details below then get on with collecting them.

Fortnite Floating Rings at Steamy Stacks locations

Steamy Stacks is an easy location to spot thanks to its tall cooling towers, but if you’ve somehow overlooked it then it’s in the far northeast corner of the map. Unlike similar previous challenges, two of the five Fortnite floating rings at Steamy Stacks are inside, with the others on top of the buildings, which makes some of them harder to spot. We’ve tagged their locations on the map above, and for more details here are their individual locations:

The first Fortnite floating ring at Steamy Stacks is above the rooftop doorway on the west side of Building 2 by the parking lot.

The second Fortnite floating ring at Steamy Stacks is on top of a tall rooftop valve directly north of the Reboot Van.

You’ll find the third Fortnite floating ring at Steamy Stacks on top of a pipe between Buildings 3 and 4 directly east of the Reboot Van.

The fourth Fortnite floating ring at Steamy Stacks is by the hanging claw inside Building 4 in the middle of the area.

The fifth and final Fortnite floating ring at Steamy Stacks is on top of a pipe inside Building 5 in the northeast corner of the area.
