All Halo menus, all the time – re-experience the sagas welcoming screens and music

The Halo series has some of gaming’s most well-known music, and while you could buy a copy of each title’s soundtrack, that’s not quite the same as hearing it when you first fired up the game that it was tied to, is it? Well, until humanity discovers time travel so that you truly can relive those moments, someone has done the next best thing: created a website (opens in new tab) where you can re-experience a Halo game’s menu screen and accompanying musical score.

So now, if you’re ever in the mood to let the Halo games provide some ambience to your day, you can throw Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: Mythic, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach or Halo 4 on the screen and think back on the good ol’ days. And if you really want to complete the experience, check out the Halo 5: Guardians music that leaked from the beta (opens in new tab) earlier this week.

With its mix of militaristic marches and melancholy melodies, I’m partial to the Halo 2 menu screen myself; which one is your favorite?
