Attendees of CinemaCon 2017 were treated to something really special this week: the first footage of Star Wars: The Last Jedi (opens in new tab). And while the rest of us schlubs won’t get to see it for awhile longer – *shakes fist* – we can still enjoy the descriptions of what viewers saw.
The clip was apparently very short, slotted into a sizzle reel showing off many other films. But in that brief window, fans described what sounds like Rey training to become a proper Jedi. Apparently that includes igniting a lightsaber, swinging it, and levitating some rocks.

Sounds like Luke is training Rey the best he knows how, considering he got his training from a muppet in a swamp. Is it wrong to hope he’ll make Rey carry him on her back, too?
