Battlefield 1 beta finishes on Thursday, expect some downtime from stress testing

Not tried out the Battlefield 1 (opens in new tab) beta yet? You’ve still got time. The Battlefield Twitter account has revealed that the beta will finish on Thursday September 8 so that’s another 48 hours or so of World War One action.

It’s worth noting though that things might get a bit bumpy. The team will be doing stress tests on the servers to simulate “extreme launch situations.” That’s a very dramatic way to describe what happens when everyone buys the same game.
