Metal Gear Solid Avatar clothes stealthily sneak on to Xbox Live

We’ve been pretty entertained by Xbox Live’s Avatar Marketplace lately. We’ve seen Skyrim clothes (opens in new tab), WWE wrestling attire (opens in new tab), full RoboCop costumes (opens in new tab), and the goddamn Batman (opens in new tab). This week another important collection of for-pay digital clothing arrived: the Metal Gear Solid HD collection. Despite the series’ long history with PlayStation, now Microsoft-centric gamers can show their love for the series online by dressing their Avatar in Fox Hound shirts.

You can see the full list of them here (opens in new tab) with prices ranging from 80 MS Points ($1.00) for shirts to 400 ($5.00) for full costumes like the badass Snake in MGS2 look. Also worth noting are the Avatar items (opens in new tab) you’ll unlock for free with the game:

The 360 and PS3 versions of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection come to stores next Tuesday, November 8.
